Blending alternative pop with indie groove and rock Katanak catapulted into last year with the release of ‘Valentine’, his indie pop ode to summer ‘Sunday (feat. Koolz)’ and indie rock anthem ‘Pinch Grip’.

Presented by Reyco Records, this gig will feature supports from the rock n roll power trio Reckless Coast, as well as rock n rollers Her Majesty, kicking the night off

Between these three tracks he’s been played on major stations Triple J Unearthed, Double J Radio, ABC Radio, BBC Introducing Radio Solent (UK), BBC Radio nan Gaidheal (Scotland), Amazing Radio (both UK & US) and 4ZZZ with Sunday’s video clip added to rotation on MTV Upload across Australia and New Zealand. Gathering praise from Music is My Muse, Happy Mag, LivewireAU and Good Call Live, Katanak is establishing himself as an exciting indie pop newcomer.

Main supports for the night, Reckless Coast, are defined by no labels. Instead, the band, with a love of British Grit and grooved fuelled rock adrenaline, heroes a refreshing contemporary zest unique to them alone.

Rapidly becoming known for some of the most organic live shows in the scene, Reckless Coast performances surge with king tides of euphoric energy, which has led them to support acts such as FANGZ, Total Pace and The Black Cardinals.

Reckless Coast embodies a no-nonsense, unpretentious approach to music that is undiluted by mainstream currents, yet remains completely relevant in today's industry.

Headliners, Katanak, shared on their socials recently that they will be joined on stage by a special guest at Thursday night's show - the talented Harry J Hart will be joining the band for the night to play bass!
