Creed Tha Kid has Mixed Emotions

Creed Tha Kid is proud to release his highly anticipated debut EP ‘Mixed Emotions Pt.1’.

Opening with his reflective April single “Swollen”, Creed Tha Kid’s debut EP meanders through six silky smooth tracks forming a melting pot of hip hop, R&B, and pop, with touches of autotune warping his velvet vocals. At its midpoint is “Luv Galore” – a vibrant new single spotlighted today by the arrival of a superhero-themed music video directed by Kevin Bar aka Moonboy of Moonboy Studios.

Creed says the EP “is a body of work expressing my last two years of life. Feelings and challenges I go through regularly while also dabbing into my take on love lust & lies. Had the chance to make this with my brothers Mess and Liam who always push me to be my greatest.”

Previous releases from the young rising star have seen him listed as a Hip Hop Award finalist in this year’s Queensland Music Awards, clock praise and support from the likes of Triple J, MTV, Channel V, Acclaim, AUdollars, The Rhythm, and Waevz to name a few, as well as score airplay additions to CADA, Radio Metro and more.

Creed Tha Kid has never let his age define him – instead, he’s made his mark through dropping a string of melodic, silky singles that blur the lines between hip-hop, rap and R&B. Whenever the Māori-Australian artist jumps on a track, whether it’s to deliver an addictive hook or come through with the haymaker bars, people stop and listen. It comes with the charisma and charm that he exudes every time he steps into a room.

Creed Tha Kid’s earned the respect of both his listeners and his peers, having previously worked with the likes of A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and DJ Noiz, as well as local heroes Mason Dane, Jaecy, Youngn Lipz and Day1. This has been highlighted through his live appearances, like a feature spot during A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s set at 2020’s FOMO Festival, as well as a tour with American rapper Lil Mosey.
